About the Event
Join us for an afternoon of fun and simple crafts at the library! This craft is sponsored by the Stutsman County Soil Conservation District. This event is for ages: 9-13. There will be a second event date for the younger kids ages 5-8 on Wednesday, July 19.
The formation of geodes is one of the world's oldest and coolest natural formations! Stutsman Soil Conservation District will give a step-by-step look into how geodes are formed and how they get their unique characteristics. Everyone gets to take their own Geode home. Class size is limited to 12 students.
All supplies will be provided. Please wear something you will not mind getting messy as we use paint and other messy things sometimes.
Please no large groups, space and supplies are limited. All children under age 9 will need to be accompanied by an adult while at the library.
Registration is required for this event.
