Toddlers &
Preschoolers
Storytime at James River Valley Library System is deigned for toddlers, and preschoolers, or any child who still enjoys hearing stories, singing songs, and using their imaginations! Stories, puppets, songs, action rhymes, and child/parent participation are some of the fun activities included during storytime. No registration is needed for individual families. Please, no large groups, as space is limited. Storytime will run for approximately 30 minutes, but may run longer or shorter depending on the activities. Ages: 9+
Join us at both Alfred Dickey & Stutsman County libraries after-school each day for fun activities! There will be games, crafts, snacks and more! These programs will begin on August 25. There will be no After-School programs during the holidays the library is closed, or if the library is closed due to poor weather. These programs are intended for kids ages 9-13. If the child is under age 9, we ask that a parent or guardian remain in the library while the child attends the program. Please see the events calendar for event dates and times.

Ages: 5+
LEGO club will meet at the Stutsman County Library from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm on the second Thursday of each month. At each meeting we will give those who want to be challenged a design to create, and for those who just want to come and build what you want, that’s okay too! Each child will have the opportunity to share with the group what they created. All Legos and supplies will be provided. Please do not bring your own legos. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT. Family
Bring the whole family out to Stutsman County Library and play board games, puzzles, video games, and more! Registration is required, please register for this event on our website. Please see the events calendar event dates and times.
