Adult Programs

We welcome adults of any age to join us at the library for craft programs, instructional classes, and more!

Information about the different programs we offer are below. Anyone is able to participate, even if you don't have a library card! Some programs require registration, and others are just first come, first serve. If registration is required it will be listed in the details for each event. 

Painting Pottery
Crafts

The library offers crafts for adults too! Join us for a fun evening of crafting and socializing! Typically all materials and supplies will be provided at no cost; however, you may be asked to bring specific items from home for certain crafts. Registration is required for crafts. 

Smiling Teacher
Instructional Classes

The library offers instructional classes on a variety of subjects such as Wills & Estate planning, Technology Classes, Food Canning, and much more! Instruction classes are free of charge, but you may be asked to provide your own materials or equipment depending on the class. Registration is required for instructional classes. 

Pile Of Books
Book Club

Pouring Over the Pages Book Club is a book club for adults. The meetings are held once per month (except during the summer months). Please contact the Alfred Dickey Library for more information.

Cookbook Club

Calling all cookbook and food lovers! Choose a recipe from a cookbook in our library that fits the food theme, prepare it at home, and bring it when we meet. At the meeting we’ll take turns discussing our recipes, sampling them, and enjoying our time together. Cookbook Club encourages new and veteran cooks alike to join our club and share the love of food.
