Birdwatching Tour-Registration Required

Join us for a FREE birdwatching tour at Arrowwood Wildlife Refuge on Friday, May 30th. This event is for children ages 6-13. A bus will leave from Alfred Dickey Library and take you out to the wildlife refuge. Registration is required.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The bus will leave the Alfred Dickey Library at 8am on Friday, May 30th and return around 12pm. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather that day. Water and a snack will be provided. Each child will receive a goody bag with items donated by our sponsors as well as some additional educational materials. Upon arriving at the Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge, the bus will stop to bird watch in a few locations before we arrive at the ranger’s station. The rangers will give an informative talk with specimens on hand to touch and feel. Birdwatching binoculars provided by Pheasants Forever will available while birdwatching.
