We welcome adults of any age to join us at the library for craft programs, instructional classes, and more!
Information about the different programs we offer are below. Anyone is able to participate, even if you don't have a library card! Some programs require registration, and others are just first come, first serve. If registration is required it will be listed in the details for each event.
The library offers crafts for adults too! Join us for a fun evening of crafting and socializing! Typically all materials and supplies will be provided at no cost; however, you may be asked to bring specific items from home for certain crafts. Registration is required for crafts.
The library offers instructional classes on a variety of subjects such as Wills & Estate planning, Technology Classes, Food Canning, and much more! Instruction classes are free of charge, but you may be asked to provide your own materials or equipment depending on the class. Registration is required for instructional classes.
Pouring Over the Pages Book Club is a book club for adults. The meetings are held once per month at Sabir's Buffalo Grill in Jamestown. At each meeting the current book will be discussed and you may feel free to order drinks and food at your own cost.
Copies of the current book are available to borrow at the main desk at Alfred Dickey Library, while supplies last.
To register for this program, please visit the main desk at Alfred Dickey Library or call 701-252-2990.
